The painting below called "Girl in a small boat" is about how we can sometimes experience life. She is battling the ocean, which is not very smooth. Her rudder broke and has been badly repaired, fixed to the corner of the boat. Though she has managed to keep hold of her catch and remains upright, she seems to be heading out to sea instead of returning to the shore! She battles against the odds whilst being mocked by two sea birds, but her determination will save the day...
